Nik Dodani is an actor, comedian, and activist based in LA who will soon be recurring on “Atypical,” an upcoming Netflix original comedy by Robia Rashid. Nik will also soon be appearing in Joshua Leonard’s indie film, “Behold My Heart,” opposite Marisa Tomei, Timothy Olyphant, Charlie Plummer, and Sakina Jaffrey. He’s most recently appeared in FreeForm’s “Kevin From Work,” NBC’s “The Player,” and HBO’s “The Comeback.” Nik performs stand-up comedy across the country at venues like The Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, The Westside Comedy Theater, Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago, Gotham Comedy Club in New york, and others. His material has been featured on BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, Colorlines, and other outlets. Nik’s also an Associate Producer at MoveOn.org, one of the country’s largest progressive advocacy organizations, creating humorous videos with a progressive bent. Previously, he worked for Elizabeth Warren’s 2012 Senate campaign and for Alicia Keys’ HIV awareness initiative, among other activist-y things.
